This listing is for an individual name plate for our “Grandchildren” family name signs. These are available for purchase by customers who have previously ordered this item from our store only.

Please note that when we began making our Grandchildren signs back in 2022, we were using a beautiful timber called Tasmanian Sassafras, which was produced in Melbourne. Unfortunately, after several years, the supplier discontinued this wood. I had a good supply of offcuts for some time, but these have now all been used to fulfil previous orders. To put it simply, the manufacturer no longer produces a wood with the same colour or finish as the original material.

We have since transitioned to using a lighter wood for our sign orders, which you will see featured across my current range in the store and on the website. This is now the only wood available for the name plates. While I understand it is quite different in colour from the original Sassafras, this timber is reliably available and sourced through a number of suppliers.

Please be aware, when we make the extra name plates it is almost impossibly to match the engraving colour of your previous order due to the fact each piece if wood is different (like I tree) but we will always do our best.

Small name plate: 150 × 21 mm
Large name plate: 295 × 42 mm

For, "Our Grandchildren making life grand since" signs
Small name plates: 199x34mm
Large name plates: 299x51mm

We have included an option to add two jump rings to attach the new plate to your sign. Please note that the rings we use are quite strong, so you will need a sturdy pair of pliers to open them. A jeweller may be able to assist if you do not have any.
